When I was graduating from 6th grade, my mom was in the hospital getting ready to give birth to Caitlyn. I remember being so excited that day to graduate 6th grade and to have a new little sister. This past month, Caitlyn graduated from Davis High. I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry. Dang that fight song they sing at the end of every graduation! After every away volleyball game in high school, we'd sing that song at the top of our lungs on the bus when we saw our school. So to sing that song for probably the last time ever, really made me sad. I am so proud of Cait for graduating. She is the last of us 6 kids to graduate from dear ole Davis High! It was fun to see some of the teachers that I'd had in High School. The teachers at Davis were fantastic. I have lots of good memories from my classes at Davis. I won't bore you with a walk down memory lane, but there were some great times at that school! Good old Cait, aka Poophead, went out in true fashion. She threw her hat, which landed far away from her, and LEFT WITHOUT IT! Don't worry, I climbed down the stairs to the floor and asked one of the ushers to hand it to me. I guess that's what the oldest does...cleans up after the youngest!
After the graduation, we went out to Tepanyaki in Layton.
That place is so much fun, watching the chefs make all that yummy food! I love the onion volcanoes that they make.

And trying to catch the shrimp in your mouth is lots of fun too!
Ciara decided at the last minute to scream and dodge the shrimp! Look at Austin's face-priceless!

One of my favorite stories is from a time one of my brothers went. I guess they were sitting with another couple they didn't know. Well, it came time to toss the shrimp and the lady was quite adamant that she didn't want to do it. The husband just kept telling the chef to toss her the shrimp and she kept refusing. Finally, she gave in, the shrimp was tossed and it hit her in the middle of the forehead, then slid down her face and off! She turned to her husband and said, "I told you with my bad eyesight I can't see things like that!" I laugh every time I think of that story. Here this poor woman can't see very well and her fool husband thinks it is funny. Oh man!
Dear, Ol Davis High School,

D-H-S!
This is sad, but I can not remember it all! It has been too long for me!
I had to giggle at the story about the shrimp and hitting the ladies head...thanks for the giggle. She probably still gives him grief about it, and she should! :)
