First Date

Daniel and I went on our first date (Feb. 8) since Variah was born! Oh my goodness!! Since Variah doesn't take a bottle we haven't been able to go out just the two of us since July. Lately we've been able to get Variah asleep by 7, so we decided to get a babysitter and go out. We had Ciara and Austin babysit for us since the going rate for babysitters is $5 an hour! What?! Yeah, if you want a babysitter you've got to pay $5 an hour. There is no way I'm gonna pay that much money for someone to come sit at our house and watch TV while our baby sleeps. Thankfully Ciara and Austin are great and drive up from Provo to help us out.  They do some laundry, we feed them dinner when they let us and it all works out great. We went shopping at Jordan Landing and then out to dinner at Olive Garden. Ahh, it was a much needed night. I love that little girl, but it was very nice to have a break from her.  Thanks Ciara and Austin!!
