April

I don't know where April went, but it sure came and quickly vanished.  We kept busy with playing around the house and enjoying the warm weather outside.  Variah is growing and developing so fast. It is so much fun just watching her play. She does a great job at entertaining herself with her toys and books.  I love just watching her as she babbles and plays.  You'd think with that time I could catch up this blog but watching her keeps me thoroughly entertained.  She is still sleeping through the night and her naps have gotten longer. HOORAY! She usually gets up at 6:30 am and I feed her. Then she plays with us in our bed for about an hour and then goes down for her first nap. It is a half hour to an hour.  That nap lets me go back to sleep.  Then I wake up and we play til about 11:00 then she goes down for another nap but this one has started to last for an hour and a half.  So much better than her 30 min nap she used to take.  She then goes down again at 3 for an hour nap.  And then to bed at 6:30 pm.  She is also eating 3 meals of solids.  She is a great eater!  She'll eat 2-3 pancakes covered in yogurt for breakfast, peas, carrots and noodles with sweet potato puree for lunch and dinner it is the same thing. She's loving her fruits and will eat strawberries, pears, peaches and grapes.  She still hates eating from a bottle, but it is what it is!

Whew! I can now see why April went by so fast, we did lots of fun things and were so entertained by our little one!
