Labor Day

We headed up to the Cabin Sunday, Sept. 1, after church to spend the night. Chels, Dustin, Carsten, Cait and my parents went up Friday.

Spending time with Pop

We went for a walk Sunday afternoon to see the horses.

This horse has the COOLEST eyes! You have to zoom in on the picture, but they are like swirly light brown. 

I dared Cait to feed a horse with her mouth and she accepted the challenge

Before the Preeces headed out Monday morning we took the famous Variah and Carsten cabin fireplace pictures. Unfortunately Variah's hair was out of control from her pigtails the day before and she was still in her pajamas. Oh well!

We had a ton of gravel delivered and needed to level it all out on the driveway and parking area.  On Friday everyone worked to widen those areas and put gravel around the cabin.  On Monday we finished it up. 

Daniel worked the heavy machinery while my dad used the dump truck.

I guess Labor Day meant lots and lots of labor for the men!
