Read Across America, Dr. Seuss' birthday, was always my favorite day when I was teaching. I would have parents come in through out the week and read a Dr. Seuss book to the class. It was so much fun and I loved hearing the parents and guests read the books. I decided this year to keep that tradition somewhat alive and read books to Variah by Dr. Seuss. She has several board books and LOVES them, but I hadn't read to her from the regular books I had in my classroom. Turns out she wanted to read them to herself.
I thought her hair looked "Whoville-ian" and then she went and added these faces! Such a ham
This was our dinner treat-red and white like the Cat in the Hat's hat
She enjoyed reading the books so much that she had to read them to her pig the next day!
