St. George

We decided to do another St. George trip like last year. This time Daniel was able to come, so our small family headed down Thursday (April 24 ) morning and the rest of the group came down that night.

This is the Payson temple

I got these FANTASTIC crayons from the book order…they are dry erase crayons. Variah was very entertained with them, coloring on them and her stuffed lamb! Haha…washable!

One tired little girl-she is without pants cuz we had to wash them out at the gas station-you can see them drying in the window.  That girl was super regular on the trip down!

Bathroom break

Friday morning bubbles

And drawing with chalk with Larlie and Brock

My dad took these two or a walk around the house and they held hands. Too cute!

Brock is a fantastic piano player  and played some tunes for us on the baby grand. Probably the first time in years that thing has been played by someone

Saturday Hike to Dixie rock

Variah and Brock were good friends

I love the little kiddos holding hands

Love these two!

"cheese"

She loves smelling flowers

Hooray

Brock and Cait

A great place for a picture with the St. George temple in the background

Variah did this all on her own while saying "ahh"

Cousins

Their attempt at a hug

And a kiss

The beautiful view

I love cuddle times!

Carsten gave a flower to Variah-Chels said it was something he wanted to do. Such a tender hearted little guy!

Smelling her new flower

The crew

Wild and Crazy

Cait couldn't get down from the tree! It was pretty funny

My mom rode in the back of our car coming back from the hike.  Variah was THOROUGHLY entertained! Good thing my mom couldn't see I was taking a picture :)

The kiddos were ready to so swimming when we got back from the hike

My favorite 2 people

Variah loved jumping off the sides of the pool

Look at that grin!

Variah and Carsten were sitting next to each other with all the stuffed animals around them, watching a movie. Of course I missed the photo opp

Cousin Bath Time

We tried to go to church but they were having Stake Conference. So we decided to drive to the Temple and walk around. This girl is a climber!

She kept knocking on the door

The temple was super bright!

It really is a beautiful temple!

Driving home Sunday, April 27th, afternoon we ran into some nasty traffic! We soon got a text:

The cows we hung out with for about an hour in standstill traffic.

The closed down freeway
It took us 6 hours to get home! Normally a 3.5 hour drive.  As you can see by the snow, we had to go another CRAZY route to get home since the freeway was closed.  We passed through every small never heard of town in Utah I swear!

We were so happy to finally be home and to be out of that car!
