Yard Work Galore

Call it nesting or call it spring cleaning, but I was done with the big bushes in our front flower beds! We decided to leave the bushes under Variah's window, but the rest we took out. We then decided to get cement curbing to help us with the grass that kept growing in the flower beds. Add some dark dirt and flowers and we were set! Hooray!

Yep, that is supposed to be dirt around that tree, NOT grass!

I LOVE IT!

Then it was on to our next yard project…taking care of our awesome window well that floods our basement with the slightest amount of rain! Our neighbor Jeff is AMAZING with these kinds of things. He also owns his own construction company and has great resources he let us use.

Cutting the grass-the fool rental sod cutter was a joke to work with, but these guys figured out how to make it work

The basement flooded once since it was fixed, but Jeff said his did the same thing. So here's hoping for a dry basement from here on out!
