Brock and Caitlyn got married on October 9th.
They had their wedding dinner the night before they got married. Their dinner was at a place in Ogden and they and a bbq food truck come. It was a super fun wedding dinner. Probably one of my favorites.
For the actual ceremony, we were supposed to come with our families dressed in Cait's colors. My mom re-made this beautiful dress for Variah by adding the lace top and the ribbon. I made the flower bow to go with it (the flower like thing pictured on the shoulder). During the ceremony Spencer was awesome and stayed downtown so he could walk around with our kids until we got out of the temple ceremony. It was so nice that he was willing to do that for us!
My mom also made Everett's tie
We took pictures of these 2 while we waited after the ceremony for the couple to come out
Variah still talks about this moment and recreates is all the time at our house. She loved seeing these two come out of the temple and cheering for them. She now comes into her bedroom holding Daniel's hand while I cheer for them! Thanks Cait and Brock for making this memory for my little girl!
She was so excited to give Caitlyn a hug
One last hug
Heading to our car-probably not the safest way to ride the escalator, but when your kids are buckled up in their stroller, you just go with it!
That night they had their reception at Salt Lake Hardware Company
I didn't get any pictures cuz I was busy chasing Variah while Daniel chased Everett. Receptions are hard with kiddos-especially those that don't take a nap all day! But it was lots of fun seeing family friends that came to support our family. The photographer did get this cute picture of Jack and Variah who loved playing together that night and went on walks with me outside.
When Caitlyn threw the bouquet it went right over Variah's head to Emily Knoll, Cait and Ciara's good friend. V was sad she didn't get to keep it so Emily let her hold it for a bit. And then we found some flowers that Variah could think were hers. It was pretty cute and a great way to end the night.
