November

Our weekly Sunday Disney Movie

Daniel was resting a bit during the movie

We were not

We pretended to be pirates with our cruise bandanas

To encourage the Mia Maids to do personal progress I organized a pie throwing contest. For every personal progress thing passed off, each girl earned a pie. This is our table of pies that the girls were going to throw at me and the advisor Heidi Peterson.

I was all ready to go in my slick clothes

It was a fun night! And luckily with my slick clothes I was able to take them off and be all clean underneath for the rest of the YW activity with the Laurels and Beehives.

Ciara's Baby Shower

Austin was out of town, so Ciara flew up to Utah to spend some time. We decided to throw her a baby shower then instead of in December or January when it would be too close to her due date and flying isn't advised.

When she was sitting down you couldn't even tell she was pregnant and due in February!

Sure love these ladies!!!

She found these gloves and really wanted to wear them one night! She kept them on all night too!

Bubble Bath

Just one of the many sleeping poses of this girl

Pop and Larlie came to dinner and Variah just wanted to cuddle in the blankets with Pop

Painting with baking soda and vinegar

The very first snow so we had to get outside and enjoy it

She came up to me and said, "Look mom I'm getting married" she had her wedding dress on and her ring. All she talks about is getting married like Aunt Caitlyn

For a Young Men/Young Women activity we did Chopped. I hosted a group. They had to use hotdogs, potatoes and candy corns. They were pretty creative with the dishes they came up with.

It is one of our favorite activities with our best turn out

Everett loves doing this face if he knows he is in trouble or if he isn't pleased with something. We usually just have to say "Everett" in a stern voice and he'll give us this look!

Beautiful flowers from Daniel for V and me

I read this book to Variah once and she had it down after that!

There's that look

She was so excited about her very own flowers

She wanted to take a picture of me with my flowers

I took this one to show Daniel how pretty they were. When he sends me flowers while he's out of town he doesn't get to see them so I try to make sure he see what beautiful flowers he's sent me.

He loves putting things between his toes!

Our little Pilgrim from the land of Nursery

Time Out for Women
This year we went to TOFW in Salt Lake. It was a smaller group with just Aubrey Sorenson (Daniel's cousin), Anna, Tiffany and myself. But that didn't mean we didn't have as much fun as a big group, we still stayed up too late and laughed a ton! Anna's baby Kate even joined us.

Anna had a white noise app going to put Kate to sleep and Kate had a death grip on the phone

Such a great weekend!

This boy cracks me up!

Daniel's Birthday
Daniel was out of town for his birthday. We decided to have his birthday party when his parents could come for dinner and to help us celebrate. Debbie was going to come but ended up staying with Carrie in West Virginia and her newborn baby.

He asked for a clothes steamer and running/warm up pants

Grandpa Taylor reading with V

Strawberry Delight cake-one of Daniel's favorite cakes

This girls creativity is the best! She was snow skiing

Everett didn't like eating the orange peel

He loves remotes and if he can have one in each hand he is even happier

Cute kids before church

popping packaging bubbles

Daniel got some 10th row Jazz basketball tickets against the undefeated Warriors. We asked Julia, due the same day as V, and Adam Robertson to the game. We had lots of fun catching up at the game and the Jazz almost beat the Warriors!! Oh and our clothes all matched too!

November was much calmer than October thank goodness!
