November

I hosted a baby shower for Daniel's cousin Aubrey. I made cookies for the baby shower

These elephants were my favorite!

Aubrey loves to read so I did a book themed shower. Ashley, Anna, Camille and Tiffany helped out with the food.  We had cheese and crackers for Stinky Cheese Man book of Poems. Swedish Fish for One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish. A veggie tray for The Bunnies Picnic. Meatballs for Rainy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Aubrey has been craving Red Cream Soda so that was our drink along with water for Walter the Farting Dog Goes on a Cruise.

Everett can now open the fridge doors. He is so excited. He loves the little "shelf" for putting his food on and his drinks. It works great cuz then he can get them out himself.

These two love looking out the window

My mom and sisters started a book club since we all love to read. In October we did a murder mystery that Caitlyn picked. My mom chose the November book. She bought each of us the book and had wrapped presents that we were supposed to unwrap when we got to certain pages and paragraphs in the book. It made it so much fun to read the book. This is the first gift we opened. It was a light house to put on a necklace or our key rings.

Daniel's birthday cake-Strawberry delight

Our traditional birthday burger from Red Robin...Daniel always gets the guacamole burger. We went Friday night to beat the Saturday Date Night crowds

Make a wish...

Birthday Breakfast
Daniel's birthday this year was on Sunday. Our church starts at 9 so rather than doing breakfast on his actual birthday, we had it Saturday. We had his favorite...waffle bar with strawberry syrup, blueberries and whipped cream (aka Red, White and Blue Breakfast)

The kids love it too

Can you blame them?

Gifts for Dad

I went to a bridal shower for one of the Laurels I taught when Daniel and I were first married. Daniel went to the Jeppson's while I was gone and Everett loved the pretend hair dryer and brush.

My too little hooligans at Costco

The first real snow of winter. They were so excited to get outside and play in it

Oh how we love our crazy and silly Everett

Some cookies I made for a 2 year old birthday

The little Thanksgiving feast Indian

For our Christmas cards we went to Thanksgiving Point. They had a studio set up with Christmas props and had Santa suits parents could put on. We decided to have Daniel dress up as Santa and have these cuties pose with him for pictures. Man, these two melt my heart with their smiles!

And I love that they love being silly

That is Daniel dressed as Santa...But man, I love Everett's face!

The Thanksgiving Table all set at my parent's house...they are going to be remodeling their kitchen so this was the last time to eat in the dining room we grew up with.

I was in charge of the vegetable platter for the meal

V was exhausted on the drive home

And this little one likes to pretend he's asleep

We took the kids bowling the day after Thanksgiving. They had fun but we made the mistake of telling them as soon as we were done we were going to the cabin with Larlie and Pop. So that is all they could talk about! They wanted to go to the cabin!

The drive into the cabin was beautiful with snow on all the trees. Thankfully the gate was open and we were able to drive to the cabin in our van rather than have to go there on snowmobiles.

These two loved the marble madness thing

I saw down with Variah on her chair after a bath one night and she crashed within minutes!

We set up the Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and this little guy loved having the felt tree to decorate

Variah wrapped presents for Daniel and Me. This is the gift she let Everett give to Daniel

She was so cute and gave this one to me

We love the little people Nativity Scene

I ended the month on a sweet note....a very sweet note! And unfortunately I failed this Glucose Drink Test. So I had to schedule a 3 hour test for the next month. Yuck!
