This month is the month of love. I decided that I would try to post this month about some of the things I love. I decided to start out with my love for books. Anyone that knows me knows I love to read-a lot! I remember one summer night when I was in Jr. High, a kid my age came to my parents house to sell something. He saw me reading on the couch and asked why I wasn't out with friends, like most normal kids. I told him that I wanted to read rather than hang out with my friends. It was then that I realized I was a nerd. That kid looked at me like I had five eyeballs. NO normal Jr. High kid liked to stay home on a sumer night just to read. The sad thing is that I still love my summers for that very reason. One of my most favorite things to do in the summer is to read. And lucky me, I am a teacher and have my summers to do just that. HOORAY! I really enjoy staying up til 3 am reading a good book and listening to the outside night sounds. I know, I am a nerd. I love curling up in my papasan chair and reading. Books are SO much better than the movie. I LOVE Count of Monte Cristo-hated the movie. I won't go there though. Anyways, here is a "view" of my nerdiness.

We read to know we are not alone. C.S. Lewis
I need a new book to read. Any good suggestions? I know I should read the bookclub book, but I haven't gotten it yet. I feel like that might be one I don't actually finish before bookclub even if we postpone till March.
