Hiking Fun

Daniel left for Europe the 5th of July and was gone until the 17th. Because he was gone for so long and worked so many hours, he took the Monday off when he got back. We decided to spend the day playing tennis together and then hiking. We went up to doughnut falls. After that hike, we went and hiked up to dog lake. It was crazy to see snow in the mountains not too far from us. We even saw a weird rodent. Anyone know what kind of animal it is?






This is as far up the trail as we could go. All the rainfall from this "summer" has created a very full river!

This is dog lake-not very pretty. Maybe that's why they call it dog lake. Check out that snow!
