Christmas in Kamas

This year we were lucky to have the Cabin for Christmas.  My parents, Caitlyn, Ciara, Austin, Daniel and I headed up Christmas Eve.  Because of the lack of snow, my parents rented snowmobiles, canceled them and got 2 4wheelers instead.  There was some snow up there, unlike down in the valley, so it was nice to have a white Christmas.


Every year on Christmas Eve, my parents get us pajamas. All the guys get matching pajamas and the girls get matching pajamas.

This year Daniel and I got "pajamas" for my parents

Yep, you heard right.

On Christmas Day, Chelsea and Dustin wanted to be there when we opened up all of the presents. So we ate breakfast and patiently waited for them to come.  We passed out all the presents and started to open them. My mom went first. She decided to open one from Christian and Laura. They'd mailed up their gifts from Arizona a couple of days earlier.  The gift my mom opened from them was a book of their wedding photos. The card attached to the book said, "Our favorite photo is on the back cover".

My mom immediately opened to the back cover and found an envelope with a note that said, "Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa". WHAT?!

She had to call the parents to be and congratulate them!

We continued to open presents, oldest to youngest, etc.

After everyone was done opening gifts, Chels and Dustin had presents to give to my parents.

Inside my mom's box was a pink bib that said "I love my Grandma". My dad's box had a blue bib that said, "I love my Grandpa". I don't know how Chels and Dustin  waited through ALL of the presents to give their presents to my folks. That's patience!

And for those cheaters that didn't watch the video of my parents opening their pajamas from Daniel and Me, that's our ultrasound on the right, Chelsea's on the left and Laura's on the bottom. Laura is due on July 1st and Chels and I are due on July 21st! 3 weddings last year, 3 babies this year. (the first grandbabies for our family )
