Week 36

So this past Sunday we picked some of our vegetables. Let me tell you, if you wanna feel like a successful farmer grow basil and radishes. You pretty much have to do nothing to them other than watering them and they grow! We don't have anything else to pick from our garden, just green plants and some blossoms.  I keep hoping to go out there to find tomatoes or peppers, but no such luck :( Bring on the pesto and italian lemonade.  Daniel just eats the radishes with salt on them. So both of us are happy with our garden treasures.

My doctor checked me at my appointment and told me I'm dilated 1.5 cm and 50% effaced. It was funny cuz she said, "Nice job on your dilating". It made me laugh cuz I have no control over that one. What's a good response? "Umm, thank you, I've been working on it?" My body is totally in control of that piece of pregnancy.  Weight gain, now that's something a little more in my control. But just a little bit more.
