Cinco de Mayo

Daniel was in Guatemala and Costa Rica from May 4th-8th. I decided to tough it out at home in Riverton and only went to my folks for the Cinco de Mayo dinner.  (I worked on lots of projects here at home and will post those later).

We decided to wear mustaches and dress up.

My dad served his mission in Mexico so the shirt I'm wearing and his poncho are both mission mementos 

Dustin is to the right in his Cabo san Lucas jacket (he served his mission in Monterrey Mexico)

Carsten's shirt says Muy Guapo and Chels is wearing sandals she got in Mexico

Daniel said he asked some people in Mexico about Cinco de Mayo and they didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Come to find out, it isn't a holiday they celebrate in Mexico, just a holiday we celebrate here in the US.  Feel free to look it up on Widipedia. :)
