Family Dinners and Fun

We had an impromptu dinner at our house with the Burninghams on May 26th.  It was pretty funny actually. My mom asked if they could come to dinner at our house so it would be easier on Variah with sleep time.  We thought that was an excellent idea since we leave the dinners early to get her to bed in time, she seriously gets sleepy at 6:30! Then Chelsea found out there was dinner at our house and asked if she could come with Carsten.  We realized most everyone was coming to dinner so we invited Carter and his family to come. Carsten and Variah loved watching the Fisher Price app on my phone and giving each other kisses.  I sure hope they like playing together as they get older!

For Memorial Day we had a barbecue at the Taylor's house.  We were all able to be there, well those that live in Utah.  The weather worked great for us so we were able to eat outside.  Here is the group minus the kids who are off playing somewhere:

June 1st was Marika's 1st birthday (Spencer and Tiffany's lil girl) and June 2nd was Carsten's 1st birthday (Chelsea and Dustin). We were able to celebrate with them on those special days.

I went from long brown hair, to short brown hair then to blond hair all while he was gone :) 

I bought a new purse and it is just Variah's size. She loves playing with it.
