Projects

While Daniel was out of town I kept myself busy with several projects. When we moved into our house the previous owners left a table and chairs on our patio. I thought they were so ugly, and I assume the previous owners did too since they left them behind, and so we tried to sell the patio furniture on KSL.  We got several calls, but no one ended up buying them :(  So I decided to make them cute so we could keep them and enjoy them.  I borrowed a sander and staple gun from my dad and got to work.  Here is what they looked like:

Daniel did a good job at hiding the chair on the right. There is a huge gash in the cushion exposing the padding.

After sanding, priming, re-uphostering and painting...Ta Da!

I even covered the cushions with vinyl so that they can handle the rain!

Project #2
Norman stopped by after work one day to help me with my second project. He helped me out by pounding a rebar post into the ground by our garden.  The rebar then became the "backbone" for my herb tower.  I have leeks, oregano, cilantro, parsley, mint and rosemary.  I painted the pots to match the patio furniture.

And project #3

It kept me busy and so the time went by quickly.  And luckily when Daniel got home we worked on some more projects together like our garden and fire pit.
