Making Memories

For Christmas Daniel's parents gave us money to make a memory.  So we bought a Thanksgiving Point membership and try to go often.  I'm sure you've seen the previous posts.  May 17th was baby animal day.  Daniel took the morning off so we could go see the animals.  There weren't very many baby animals, but it was still fun. And we totally forgot about school field trips and happened to be there when a large group of students were too!  Ahh field trips.  Variah enjoyed seeing the different animals, or at least she seemed to enjoy them, she didn't really tell us. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa Taylor for the gift!

All ready for fun

This pig was huge!

Lots of horses

This is the "cool" lama-Check out his California hairstyle

The one baby animal we saw besides the chicks

This poor chicken looked like he was having a bad hair day!

Check out the plumes on that peacock! He was trying to impress his lady friend

Daniel was super excited to have gone to Thanksgiving Point!  Hahah he totally spilled water all over his lap and when he got out of the car to get into his car for work I noticed this and laughed so hard.  Luckily it dried by the time he got to work.

That afternoon several of the teachers I taught with at Draper were having a retirement open house.  I thought it would be fun to stop by and say hello. And it was fun to have Variah there to meet all the teachers (she met some at 1 month old) and to "see" where I worked before having her.  I hope someday she looks at this picture and sees that she was more important to me than my professional teaching job.
