Happy Halloween

This year we were able to go to our Ward Chili Cook Off-which was a good thing since Daniel and the Sunday School Presidency was in charge!  We took a couple of pictures of Variah in her owl costume before we headed over to the church for the yummy chili.  My favorite was a white chili our friend Kristi made.  Luckily I loved her chili because later that night her husband, who was watching Variah for us, lost sight of V and she shut herself in a classroom and couldn't get out. Fortunately they heard her screams/cries and found her.  My love of the chili made me more forgiving I think :)

I bought her a tunnel from Ikea and she loves crawling through it and surprising us on the other side

She loved running around in the hallways with the other kids

Annual Burningham Party

Daniel and I dressed as trees for our little owl to "sit on"

She really enjoyed the crunching sound the leaves made-and really, who doesn't?!

The punch for the evening

Little frankenstein jell-o, veggie dip with carrot hand, cheese dip

Eating the traditional Sloppy Joes dinner-Delish!

Carter and Annie brought a drill with a special attachment that helped clean out the pumpkins in record time

Variah absolutely loves dogs! Bailey and her were best friends-as long as variah had food to feed bailey

Carving pumpkins

My mom gave us girls a Halloween bath bomb from lush. It had pop rocks in it to make popping noises and dye to turn the water red like blood.  And it smelled fantastic. It was a fun treat to have.

Daniel was a stick man for his work costume

4Life does trick or treating on Halloween, so we visited Norman's office. He then took Variah around to a couple of places before his meeting. We didn't even make it over to the other building where Daniel works, but Variah got a ton of candy and loved every minute of the attention she got from everyone.

She was not candy shy at all! She knew just what to do!

This silly girl of ours! We sure love her laughter and smiles

Cookies I made for Daniel-we decorated cookies for our Laurel activity at my house

Our Halloween dinner-Hot Dog Mummies

Our Jell-o brain

Daniel and Variah went trick or treating for a bit and I passed out the candy.

Happy Halloween!
