We started off the day with phone calls from Larlie and Pop and Grandpa Taylor. Variah was super thrilled to talk to them. She later got phone calls from Grandma Taylor and other loved ones. So thankful for the support and love from family members. We had pancakes for breakfast. Variah got a purple pancake in the shape of a 2. I saw that my friend does that for her kids on their birthday-get a pancake the shape of their new age. I thought it was a cute idea so I stole it! Thanks Elise!

I used a bear pan to make this cake. And for some weird reason I decided to try a new chocolate frosting recipe. It was such a pain! It is a good frosting, I just wish I would have made it the day before so I could have had the time it needed!

Grandma and Grandpa Taylor came up the 16th to celebrate with Variah
They gave her some darling plates, utensils and bowls for her kitchen set. The colors are so cute and she loves putting her pretend food in them.
I hope she had a great birthday! We sure love her. She is such a smart girl and makes our lives that much better. She loves to tease us and make us laugh. She is so kind and will give us random hugs and kisses. She will be an amazing older sister, already she give him kisses, hugs, sings him songs and tells him stories. She truly is a blessing in our lives! We love you Variah
