I had to take the 3 hr. glucose test because I failed the first one. Brooke Franco, the YW pres., told me that she had failed with one of her kids and she had to drink the extra sugary glucose every hour while sitting in a closet cuz that was the only room available! I was prepared for the worst when I went in on Monday. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised to find out I only had to drink a more concentrated drink at the beginning of the 3 hours and that I had a nice comfy chair to sit on in a nice room!
And yes, my face looks swollen but that is probably cuz it was morning and I hadn't been awake very long.
See, not too bad of a set up! Luckily I passed this test and was not gestational diabetic!
