September 1-3

September 1st was an exciting day in our house. It was Variah's first day of Preschool! I was probably just as excited for her to start school if not more! Our neighbor, Jeannette Newman teaches preschool in her basement. We decided it was a perfect fit for us this first year since the Newmans teach Variah's nursery class at church, lots of V's friends would be in her class, I could leave Everett at home sleeping to pick her up and the cost was pretty cheap compared to other places.

Treats for V to give her teacher

Daniel went to work late so he could be there to walk with Variah to preschool

This girl and her faces!!

I love this picture of her so happy

We each took a turn walking with her to school

Then as we got closer she wanted to run!

Variah and her good friend Jordan

The girls with Mrs. Newman

Variah gets a little confused and calls her brother Newman because she knows it is Sister Newman at church and another name at preschool.

The kids lined up...she has the Newman twins, Sam Hall, Gabby Cline and Jordan Simonsen in her preschool class

That 2 hour break was FANTASTIC! I was able to go home, kick up my feet and watch the Amazing Food Truck Race

When it was time to pick up Variah I grabbed my phone just in case I wanted to take pictures of her after her first day. I am SOO glad that I did because as soon as she saw me she just ran to me excitedly shouting my name! It melted my heart for sure!

This is what Everett's hair looked like after the haircut I gave him-all styled up

For Variah's second day of preschool they had show and tell. Variah was able to choose anything that she wanted to bring and she chose this blanket. She said it was because her grandma Larlie had made it and that she loves her.

The mouse she made at preschool. You can see in her eyes how tired she is! Preschool days are tiring days for this little girl!

Playing on the swings at Great Grandpa Burningham's house-SOO many memories on this swing set!

We were going to be out of town for Great Grandpa B's birthday party so we all went to his house to visit with him and eat ice cream

I made and frosted Everett's smash cake for our family pictures the next day
