For our annual Aprils Fools Dinner I made Fish Stick cookies, Cookie French Fries with ketchup frosting. Our drink is mashed potatoes and bbq chicken for the carmel sauce.
Variah just couldn't figure out why her ice cream dessert was so hard to drink through her straw!
Everett LOVED the french fries
Just before the start of the Riverton 1/2 marathon and 4Life 5k. It was a nice and bright day!
So turns out I took 3rd in my age category! haha With my addition for my medal, I as given a gift certificate to use at a running store near our house. We stopped by the store on our way home so I could redeem my gift certificate.
I was able to get a couple pouches of every Jelly Belly Beans. I figured if anything they could give me the energy to get through the day with my 2 kiddos.
After bath silly faces...Everett will learn, but check out Variah's cross eyes! Silly girl.
We switched things up one morning and V sat in Everett's high chair. They both loved it.
This girl loves to pose for pictures
So I turned around to see Variah trying to put in a Panty Liner into her pants! I guess it is time I should start closing the door when I go to the bathroom. The best was watching the progression of the panty liner throughout the day...
It became a butterfly on her hand as we chatted in bed...
Then it because a bird outside and flew around our yard! Oh dear
Silly bath hair-this is like Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty.
Cute hair after it was in braids
Somehow this kid got the wiggle car over his head and stuck! He didn't think it was very funny like I did
Monday morning snuggles. I love when these two snuggle together
For some reason one day Everett and Variah thought it was a great idea to lick my pants! It was the weirdest thing and I couldn't get them to stop!
Variah's first soccer game. She was on a team with friends from our neighborhood.
She was all bundled up for the game
Waiting her turn to kick the ball with Lexi Jeppson
Her time to sit out...V, Lexi, Caleb Holt, Jake Newman
High Fives with her good friend Sam Hall
I decided to be crafty and built a top for our fire pit. It keeps kids safe but also serves as a table for us to eat on
Our cute little Sunbeam
One afternoon we were sitting in Everett's rocking chair after Everett's nap and Variah fell right asleep!
We were kinda silly while V slept
We visited Dad at work one day to say hello
He was playing with this toy with such determination but also such precision with his hands
Again, I love when these two have moments like this
This kid is definitely my son and loves to sleep! Getting excited to take naps in fact
Because this girl loves anything to do with marriages and weddings since Caitlyn got married in October and Ashley got engaged!
This is the finished product of the table I made. It took me awhile to get it painted and put out because it was so cold outside and rainy!
During a time out it got quiet in Variah's room, I found her asleep on the floor
She went to a princess party and had a great time!
Another chilly soccer game
I hosted a cookie decorated night with my mom, Chels, Cait and Annie
This was the Sunday I was released from Young Womens. It was a hard Sunday and this just made my day when I was subbing in nursery and Everett put his arm around my neck and ate his snack.
My sweet and handsome boy
Lindsay, the 2nd counselor wasn't released from YW. She brought over a sweet note and a bag of yellow treats to bring sunshine into my life since I wasn't in YW anymore.
Love these two!
Cuddling with Scout. I put Scout in with Everett for a nap and he was pretty excited!
I asked V how she wanted her hair done for the day and she said in a bow, so this was my attempt
Look at that adorable face
And this one too! Bwahaha
The first Wednesday night that I didn't go to YW, all the girls and the new leaders brought me over some flowers and treats. I was a bawling mess!
It didn't help to look at the girls and see that they were crying too!
I sure love this group of girls and ladies!!
They wrote me sweet notes in a notebook and put pictures from the year in it-again, making me cry as I read it!
This little boy loved climbing on this storage tub and playing with shoes
I flew down to Arizona to visit Ciara the last weekend in April. She was so cute when she picked me up at the airport she had flowers for me and some yummy s'more treats from Trader Joes.
Such hospitality!
Meeting cute Nora for the first time
Enjoying the nice warm weather in the back. Ciara and I sat outside all day on Friday, it was just what I needed. Some R&R with lots of chatting!
We had some good cuddle time
Flying home I had an exit row...I love that extra leg room!
April was a great month with the snow gone and sunshine so we could get outside again!
