Hawaii part 2

Tuesday morning we woke up and headed down the street to Eggs N' Things. They had very yummy breakfast dishes. You have to wait quite awhile to get in, but I thought the food was worth the wait. The waffles are the things they are famous for. I had the egg omelet since sweet stuff just didn't sound good that morning, but next time I go, I'll be getting the waffles for sure! After breakfast, we headed to Diamond Head. It is a large crater that was used for military defense back in the day. Hiking to the summit of Diamond Head gives you an amazing view of Waikiki.
After we hiked Diamond Head, we headed to Punch Bowl. Punch Bowl is a cemetery and memorial for those who have served in the Armed Forces. It was amazing to see all the names on the walls to the sides of the stairs.
Wednesday we went to the swap meet and then to Pearl Harbor. The swap meet was great! We spent 4 hours looking at all the things they had to sell. We each made some good purchases. We even got some airbrush tattoos :)
After the swap meet, we went to Pearl Harbor. It was pretty amazing to watch the movie they had and then head to the USS Arizona. There is still oil coming from the sunken ships. Wow!
After Pearl Harbor we hung out at Waikiki Beach
