What we've been up to lately

So having a baby has really been quite the experience. To say our lives have changed is an understatement! Sleep is definitely on the to-do list.  It seems like we never can get it done though, we try, but it seems like our little one has a different idea. Last night we woke her up just before 11, so that she would be tired and sleep more through the night. Nope. She decided to stay awake fussy until 1:30. I had fed her and Daniel had changed her diaper.  So we ruled those 2 things out. But for whatever reason, she just didn't want to really fall asleep. Bless his heart, Daniel took care of her so I could sleep.  He put her down at one point, crawled into bed and as soon as he got comfortable, she woke up.  Oh man! Another to do item is keep the family room and kitchen clean. It seems like we get the couch cleaned up and then a new pile starts up again. And the island in the kitchen? Well, let's just say being able to see 1/3 of it is a good thing :)  At least we know where to look for our mail and anything else that is paper related-hospital papers, mail, magazines, etc. Instead of doing all of those things that we used to, we prefer hanging out with Variah and taking lots of pictures of her. So here are some of the pictures we've taken. Thank goodness for digital cameras and phone cameras that let us take oodles of pictures of her!  We sure love our little one, even when she doesn't sleep at night.  We'll just keep working on that :)
