Variah's Birthday Party

When Variah was about 6 months old I started watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with her.  She would get excited to see Mickey on the screen and listen to the opening song.  She didn't really watch the show, just got excited for the beginning and the hot dog song at the end.  When I was coming up with an idea/theme for her bday party, Daniel suggested a Mickey Mouse party.  Such a grand idea! It was lots of fun to put it all together.  I was able to borrow Anna's cricut cartridge to make the decorations.  My mom made Variah's bumpkins and they turned out so cute! Everyone was so nice to bring something for the lunch and to bring her a gift.  We are so blessed with supportive family members!

All of her monthly pictures month 1 through 11

The birthday girl in her birthday suit-minus the diaper :)

Chocolate covered pretzels

If you've ever noticed, Donald Duck is dressed like a sailor

"Chips and Dale"

Minnie's Bowtique (bow-tie) pasta
(On Disney channel Minnie has a short cartoon show called Minnies's Bowtique where she sells bows)

Mickey Mouse "club house" sandwiches

Daisy's Fruit (the fruit is in daisy serving platters) and Goofy's Garden (at the beginning of the show goofy is working in the garden)

Her cute bum

As you can see the picture is blurry cuz that girl was so excited to have everyone at our house! She kept running all over pointing to things and just going crazy.  My favorite was when Carsten got there. Chelsea needed to change Carsten and Variah went straight to her room and started pointing to everything in her room like she was so excited to show him all the things that belonged to just her.

Marika, V and Carsten

Her very own Minnie doll from the Preeces, look at that smile

So this is a before shot-before Variah burned her fingers. Yeah, Daniel prepped me and said she would want to grab the candle so I should be ready. I totally forgot to hold her hand and yep, she touched the flame.

You can see she didn't like that so much!

Her hat also became a pirate patch and a unicorn horn

So proud of herself for finishing that cupcake!

All of her gifts.  Thank you to everyone who loves our little girl! It was a great birthday.
