This year was our year to use the condo at Snowbird. Daniel was out of town so I headed up by myself with the kids Wednesday afternoon.
Larlie, Pop, Caitlyn and Brock had been there during the week. Larlie left presents for the kids. Variah was so excited to paint her ghost!
Everett didn't do so well with the ottoman. He slipped right off onto his forehead. Poor kid!
There is just something about the cement walls in the Iron Blossom Lodge that I love. Probably just the memories from my childhood, but man I loved seeing my kids walk up and down them.
We were so excited for Chels, Carsten and Riley to get there Thursday afternoon!
This little guy finally fell asleep
And while he slept Variah and Carsten went swimming with Chels at the pool
We can't do bath time pictures anymore in the St. George house since it has been sold, so we had to take this one to keep the bath tub picture tradition going. It might be the last picture of them in the tub together.
They were excited for Larlie and Pop to come up Thursday night. Unfortunately it didn't work out for Chels and her kids so they went home early.
These two slept in one bed and I slept in the other. I was dying when I went to bed and saw that they were sleeping like this!
Friday morning Pop took the kids for a walk and to the playground
I'm pretty sure they had lots of fun!
When the kids were out with Pop he showed them the big wheels that get the trams going up and down the mountain. After that Everett was obsessed with them and had to watch them or point them out to us anytime he saw them!
I have the same picture of these two when Variah was just a few months old. Another picture tradition!
We had fun swimming-the kids sure love to swim and I love the floating devices them allow them to enjoy it and be safe. Both of them were fearless and jumped off the sides and swam around the pool.
We had a Labor Day bbq at Debbie and Normans.
These kids sure love playing together and all get along really well!
My 36th Birthday!
I got breakfast in bed. Cheerios came out with a pumpkin spice cereal and so that is what I asked Daniel to "make" for my breakfast in bed. It was super yummy!
As you can see, Everett really like them too!
A towel from Norman and Debbie, A coloring book, cookie cutters, leggings and a shirt (one I'll be able to wear after I have the baby)
Anna stopped by with this book for my birthday. It was such a good book!
We went to Firehouse Subs for my free bday sub
And of course for dinner we went to Red Robin
I LOVE their burger and fries!!
My neighbor Oravanh from Laos brought me this coconut water
My neighbor Britni knows how much I love pumpkin and brought me this pumpkin cheesecake
My neighbor Jen Payne made this bracelet for me
And Julia brought me this candy and card.
So many kind and thoughtful gifts and texts on my birthday. It made me feel very loved!
On the 11th we celebrated my grandpa's 90th birthday with a big celebration at his house with family and neighbors. I can't believe he is 90 years old. But man, he is still so smart and sends out birthday cards for all the grandkids and even remembers all of the great grandkid's names! It is very very impressive. He even drives still!
This little guy turned 2 on the 11th but we celebrated everything on the 12th. Here he is with his #2 birthday pancake
Everett is in love with the TV show Bubble Guppies, so I made him this cake
We had hamburgers and bbq food on our new back patio with the grandparents
Variah was lucky and Grandma Taylor danced with her on our new grass
And Grandpa Taylor ran races with Everett
This little guy was so excited to open his presents and showed lots of enthusiasm for each and every present
The cake was a hit...the blue food coloring was fun all over his face
He got lots of great things
This girl loves to pose
Our handsome motorcycle dude
Our steps were finally completed with the railing!
The last stage of our backyard remodel. HOORAY!!
We finished out September with haircuts. I trimmed the back of Variah's hair
And trimmed up Everett's hair too
