First part of February

The first week of February I was called to be the 1st counselor in the Young Women's presidency.  I had been the Laurel advisor since September so luckily I knew the girls and was super excited for the new President and 2nd counselor.  I love being a part of the Young Women's Program.  The first activity we did as a new presidency was a Daddy Daughter Date.  It was fun with the dads and girls dancing to Just Dance on the XBox and a photo booth.  Here is the picture of the YW presidency and advisors.

Daniel went out of town for a couple of days so I went to Farmington to stay with my parents and go to a funeral of my cousin Rachael's husband Jared.  The funeral was very sad to see young Rachael bear testimony during his funeral of Jared's decision to return to heaven while in a coma at the hospital. I don't know how she stood up during the funeral and addressed the crowd! I would have been a wreck. And to see little Libby, not even a year old with her blanket made out of the same material of a teddy bear that was buried with Jared, it just broke my heart.  But at the same time it made me thankful to know that families are forever thanks to the Temple!

All of the pall bearers wore a hat of Jared's-he loved BYU and the Broncos

While we were at my folks' place, Variah had a fun time playing with Carsten and my parents.

My mom and I wear these velcro rollers for volume with our hair-I love them.  My mom decided to use them in Variah's hair.  V was a good sport!

She loves all the food she gets to eat at Larlie and Pop's!

During the Olympics I was watching Figure Skating with Variah one day and taught her to do an ice skating kick-like when they stick their leg out and twirl.  This is her version of that while dancing with Daddy.

She loves helping Daniel shovel the snow. This dustpan is her personal shovel :)

This girl has some of the funniest faces!
