July

We started Reunion #1, Bham Reunion, off with a grandkid pictures for my parents. Chelsea did a great job with the pictures! The kids all looked so cute.

I was in charge of making these boys laugh. They gave us some of the best pictures with the sillies and best laughs! ( I was picking the stuffed monkey toy's nose. Boys!)

I love this one of Nevaya and Riley!

After pictures we went back to my parents house to play and enjoy the summer weather. And begin the Bham family reunion.

Almost all of us siblings chatting...doesn't happen very often!

Carter blessed Lily on the 2nd, so I grabbed a picture with Nevaya and my Grandpa Don after sacrament.

Nevaya was 5 months old on the 2nd.  She can drink from a bottle, she can roll over both ways and loves smiling!

As per tradition, we went to the Safety Fair at Bountiful Park. The kids love it because it has a ton of police cars and firetrucks. Not to mention a helicopter that lands and the kids get to look at the inside.

After the fair we went to Chelsea and Dustin's house to do some daytime fireworks for the kids.

On the 4th we gathered back at my folks for fun in the sun, a bbq and fireworks.

Playing slamm-o

My mom bought painting books for the kids to do while we got the bbq ready.

My folks bought 4th of July outfits for all the grandkids again this year, so of course we had to get pictures.

I love seeing how the kids grown and change each year in this 4th of July picture we take annually.

Everyone all ready for the Bham firework show

Just a couple of fireworks

I love this picture of the kids with their sparkler swords...Variah has a pink sword!!

We stared outside but then I took Nevaya inside to feed her and put her to sleep. Everett decided he didn't like the loud noises of the fireworks, so he joined us inside.

As you can see he literally had his nose right up against the screen to see the fireworks!

All tuckered out after a fun weekend.

I don't know where she's seen this...haha. Just taking pictures of her baby...technically Everett's.

On to Reunion #2 for the summer. We had the Carson Family Reunion. Daniel's mom is a Carson, so all of her siblings and families came up to Orem to celebrate Great Grandpa Cub's 90th birthday in August. It started with a hike up to Stewart Falls on Friday. Daniel took V and Everett and said they were the best little hikers!

That night we had a birthday dinner for Grandpa Carson and Cosmo the BYU mascot showed up to show Grandpa Carson some love.

The kids loved the confetti that was shot out during his entrance!

This is an awesome visual of the Carson Family tree from just Grandpa and Grandma Carson!

The next morning after apple pancakes, Grandpa Carson gave each grandchild a bag of candy full of treats that he remembered from his childhood.

Daniel even got one for Nevaya...who was sleeping at home.

After the breakfast we played a bunch of outdoor games and had yummy treats. The kids were in heaven with all the food.

Cotton candy and a snow cone...heaven!

All tired from the fun in the sun and playing hard with all the cousins.

Headed up to Idaho for reunion #3

I made the kids their own snack boxes again and we bought them some coloring lap boards.

Our home for the reunion. We decided if we wanted Nevaya to get any sleep that a trailer was the way to go. The trailer owner brought the trainer and set it all up. It was a great deal and we were so glad we did it. Our kids were able to take naps and sleep great. They were happy and so were we!

Naptime for Nevaya

That night just before dinner Daniel and some of the kid went out on the water

They loved it!

And the best part is waking up the next morning to fish!

Or to look at this adorable face sleeping so sound!

Morning dance parties

Playing in the water

It was nice to be able to feed Nevaya and put her down for a nap and have the other 2 take naps too. And I knew they weren't roasting in a tent cuz we had a swamp cooler in the trailer.

They needed that nap!

Riding on the 4 wheeler

Spencer and Tiffany were in charge of the Reunion this year and did an Olympic theme. They did an awesome job!! Thursday night we had the opening ceremonies.

Each family created a flag and then did the parade of nations

Afterwards we played a game of get to know you bingo.

Everett would have gladly brought this home with us!

It was nice to put them to bed for the night and leave to go sit at the campfire with the adults, knowing they were safe. But I also loved just seeing them all sleeping together!

Loved snuggling in the morning with my girls.

All dressed and ready for the day in her Happy Camper onesie

I had to wear my hat that said "Happy Camper" to match her

Friday was the day of Events

Everett was super entertaining with his water cup-spilling most of it by the time he got to the bucket.

Grandpa dancing with Variah

While we were waiting for dinner, we ran over to the nearby farm and took pictures on their farm vehicles. Everett loved every minute!

Closing Ceremonies

We were awarded the silver medal for an event

We won the bronze medal for over all. We got a jar of bronze rolos.

Saturday was the take down and clean up day. It was also Variah's 5th Birthday.

My birthday girl just after waking up on her special day.

So we had her open up some presents from us and passed out Hostess Cupcakes to everyone. She loved spending her birthday with her family!

All the siblings and their spouses...probably should have taken this the first day instead of the last!

All of the grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa

Poor Everett was the recipient of the swing when someone wasn't too happy that Everett was in the way.

They were so very tired after playing so hard and having so much fun!

The Monday after we got home from Idaho we celebrated Variah's birthday with the usual breakfast pancake shaped in their birthday number, and a dinner with Grandparents.

Her mermaid cake that I made

We wore Grandpa out

A few days later we had her first birthday party with friends. We did a mermaid themed party.

Playing pin the starfish in the mermaids hair

Eating cake and snowcones

Making their mermaid tails

Gracie, V, Sophie, Cambry, Lexi, Dacie, Talia, Jordan

The snowcones were a hit with the girls-they liked them more than the cake!

The only boy at the party-he napped for most of it though

She got some awesome gifts from her friends!

We went to feeding Nevaya with bottles only! It made me feel so much better knowing how much she was getting and also knowing I had the freedom to be gone if I needed to!

My homemade bottle drying rack

Variah used the leftover sticker jewels from her party to bedazzle her toes

Summertime bbq

This girl just makes us smile. Variah wore this outfit as a baby and I loved it so much!

I love her post nap snuggles

Eating yogurt popsicles outside

Cookies I decorated for my friend Lindsay

It was a pirate themed party

This was the outfit Variah got at the birthday party for Lindsay's son Eli

My handsome Everett after church one day

This suit was a birthday gift from Larlie and Pop

Annie and Carter were moving to Connecticut so we had one last girls outing. We met up in Farmington at a pottery painting store.

As you can tell we were very serious about getting those pieces painted!

We stopped at a restaurant to have some very yummy gourmet doughnuts

I bought Everett some paw patrol underwear to encourage him to get out of diapers!

Sweet Nevaya

Nursery picture

This boy just kept on sleeping halfway out of his bed

Playing with Variah's birthday toys

Love this little boy

Look at that cute face!

Using the snowcone machine before taking it back to Stephen and Alyssa

and finishing with s'mores.

This was Variah's leg with her Molluscum Contagiousum. THE WORST THING EVER! This rash suddenly appeared one day on the inner side of both her legs and lasted clear until OCTOBER. I'm sure it itched and bothered Variah cuz she picked at the original spots and it spread all over her body.

It was not fun having to treat it with small squares of cotton pads soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar and then covered with a band aide.
